Print's Regional Design Annual may not be the red carpet, but it's better than a poke in the eye, right? Californians, cast off your shackles! The California State Board of Equalization recently voted to do away with the sales tax on virtually all reproduction rights on artwork. The change was made after years of lobbying by my peers in the Graphic Artists Guild and sister organizations. Way to go! See http://www.gag.org/ for details on this momentous achievement.
